Thanks. After PPD how long you will wait for Pt stabilization and if Pt will not stabilized? Is this algorithm management depend on Pts weight?

I will wait for 48 hrs for patient parameters to improve. If no improvement/worsening baby condition, I will proceed to laparotomy with minimum procedure (stoma in a proximal healthy small bowel without resection).

If the baby is less than 1 kg, I try first PPD before going to exploration.
