A 6-year old boy with an anorectal malformation underwent colostomy, posterior sagittal anorectoplasty (PSARP), and colostomy closure in the first year of life. After his colostomy closure, he developed multiple urinary tract infections, resulting in significant renal damage and requiring renal transplantation. He continues to have urinary tract infections.
