    interesting_case NEC case

    7 days old ,PT 36 weeks . W; 1.7 KG. has PDA on paracetamol. was on oral feeding, has get sudden abdominal distension.
    WBC: 10000, Platelets: 270000. PH: 7.31, HCO3: 25 ,
    abdomen X RAY revaled pneumoperitoneum. How to manage ?

      Well said, pneumoperitoneum is an absolute indication for intervention in NEC either with laparotomy or drain according to baby condition
