Nice job. Thanks for video. Only 2 remarks from my experience: 1. I prefer anastomosis under azygos vein. 2. I never keep drain if anastomosis is extrapleural and there is no severe tension

Thanks, you are rigt that it is more anatomical to keep the esophagus under the Azugus but there is an opinion that it acts as a barrier to prevent against recurrence. 2ndly, leaving a drain is does no harm, so why not.
