    interesting_case Perforated appendicitis in VLBW neonate

    29 days old neonate with BW 1400 gr was taken to OR for complicated NEC (free gas in abdomen, signs of peritonitis). perforated appendicitis revealed At the time of procedure. Appendectomy was done. Uneventful recovery.
